Samantha & Robby’s Wedding – The Farmhouse – Montgomery Texas Photographer

Samantha and Robby said planned their wedding in the small window that Robby was to be on leave from the Army. Their Christmas winter themed wedding took place on December 23rd. The Farmhouse was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s chosen wedding colors of deep reds, greens and silver. The white shiplap walls of this venue really made the decor from Love Birds Vintage Rental & Styling really stand out. The large room was separated into a ceremony space and reception space. Then the ceremony area was flipped into the dance floor after the nuptials. The wonderful vintage vignettes of the ceremony area with a faux fireplace with Christmas trees and ceremony foot washing area, was defined by the freestanding antique door entrance with a bible verse above. A separate defined reception space had  it’s own arched entrance, sweetheart table and farmhouse tables mixed with round tables that made the area intimate for the meal.
Samantha’s bridesmaids wore lovely gray long dresses and the groomsmen had red/green matching bowties and suspenders. The stunning florals were done by HEB Blooms, North Woodlands Market location.
The wedding cookie cake was made to be a ‘naked cake’, and the bride and groom had a fun time trying to cut a piece out. Stylish display of the brunch was catered by A Taste Above Catering.
The bride wore a David’s Bridal gown, and her soon-to-be mother-in-law’s wedding shoes. They actually wear the same size! The bride also carried a silk handkerchief that was carried by four generations of women in her family. The guest underlined their favorite quote in the couple’s new bible. They departed to a snow confetti send off. Perfect winter wedding for the first wedding to be hosted a The Farmhouse.
